  • Ample field parking. Volunteers will guide you to your parking spot. It’s stress-free!

  • Our casual dining options offer all your favourite festival foods, from classic hot dogs and chips to locally-sourced lobster sandwiches. Wash it down with refreshing sodas, water, tea or coffee. Our menu is designed for convenience, so you can grab a quick bite and return to the music. The refreshment tent (19+) has your favourite alcoholic beverages and local options on-site. Please note that alcohol is not permitted outside refreshment tent area.

Events

Immerse yourself in the vibrant culture of Broad Cove all day long. Concert day offers many activities from dawn to dusk, making it an ideal addition to your summer itinerary.

  • Get your running shoes on! Join us for either a 5 km or 8 km walk and run around beautiful Broad Cove Marsh. Starts Saturday, July 26th at 9:00 am at St. Margaret of Scotland.

  • Join us for Sunday Mass at St. Margaret of Scotland Parish. Begins at 9:30 am on July 27, 2025.

  • The granddaddy of all Scottish concerts. 3:00 pm - 9:00 pm on July 27, 2025.

  • The show doesn’t end after the concert. Head over to Southwest Margaree Hall for an exciting square dance featuring Shelly Campbell. Starts right after the Broad Cove Scottish Concert at 9:00 pm.

Getting to the concert is a breeze! Broad Cove is just a short five-minute drive from Inverness village and is conveniently located between popular tourist attractions such as Cabot Cape Breton and renowned beaches. Simply click on the map for directions, regardless of your starting point.

The Venue

  • Our redesigned stage is the focal point of the venue. No matter where you are on-site, the stage is always in view with a comprehensive sound system setup.

  • There is a parking spot within walking distance of the seating area for everyone! Upon arrival at the site, our volunteers will direct you to one of three possible parking locations.

  • There are three entrances/ticket booth areas to help with congestion during busy hours. As you enter Broad Cove Marsh Rd., one of our volunteers will assist in guiding you to one of three entrances.

  • Broad Cove has several great locations to sit down and take in the show. Choose our benches if you want to be close to the action. If you’d like to relax and have a picnic, plenty of open spaces are on the field. It’s your choice!

  • Our canteen and souvenir booths are located towards the back of the seating area.

  • Across from the canteen, our refreshment tent is available to anyone 19 and above.

Health & Safety

Your safety is our top priority, and we're committed to ensuring a comfortable and secure environment for everyone attending the event.

  • In case of fire, follow the instructions of the staff and emergency personnel.

  • No alcohol or drugs are allowed on the concert grounds. Please find the designated refreshment area.

  • A first aid station will be available on-site for any medical emergencies.

  • Food and drink will be available for purchase on-site, please dispose of waste in designated bins.

  • Prepare for various weather conditions, such as rain or sun, and dress appropriately.

  • Be aware of the volume levels and take necessary precautions to protect your hearing.

Broad Cove Scottish Concert FAQs

  • The concert lasts approximately six hours.

  • Nope! There is plenty of room for everyone on our field. Just pay at the gate upon arrival.

  • Yes! Purchase your ticket at our booth located beside the canteen. The draw takes place near the concert’s end.

  • Yes, we do sell merchandise. Head over to our souvenir booth beside the canteen for an assortment of t-shirts, hoodies, hats, and more.

  • Pets are allowed on site. However, we please ask that you keep your four-legged friend on a leash at all times. Thank you.

  • You bet. We please ask that you do not block the view of the stage from other concert-goers.

  • The concert still proceeds in the event of rain or bad weather. If extreme weather is predicted in the forecast, our communications team will announce the concert’s status before the show. Always ensure to bring rain gear in the chance of unexpected showers.

  • The weather in July is typically warm and sunny, with temperatures ranging from the mid-60s to the low 80s Fahrenheit (15-28 degrees Celsius). However, visitors should be prepared for sudden weather changes, so bringing rain gear is necessary.

    Visitors should wear light, breathable clothing and comfortable footwear suitable for walking on uneven terrain to enjoy the concert comfortably. Sunscreen and hats are also recommended to protect against the sun, and bringing a light jacket or sweater for cooler evenings is a good idea.
