2026 Summer Job Applications Now Open

The 70th Annual Broad Cove Scottish Concert Committee is seeking students for two summer positions…

Position 1: Event Coordinator

  • The position is for a 14-week period @ 35hours/week.

  • The anticipated start date would be mid-May 2026.

  • The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic self-starter who can work independently.

  • Previous experience in event planning and coordination would be an asset. Candidates must be enrolled in a post-secondary program, preferably in the field of marketing, advertising, or tourism, and have strong social media skills.

  • A good understanding of the culture and music associated with the concert would also be beneficial.

Position 2: St. Margaret’s Groundkeeper

  • 10 weeks/35 hours per week.

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for general groundskeeping and preparing for the Broad Cove Concert.

  • Duties include mowing lawns, painting, erecting signs, performing minor repairs, cleaning, and general setup for the concert.

  • Post-concert, the employee is required to do grounds cleanup, store benches, remove signs, etc. Interested persons may submit their information to the Stella Maris Parish office.
